I would like to use a single URL or button to allow customers to go directly to a booking page that is specific to a single service for a single employee and not have the option to choose which employee or other services.
Sure, you can do this with a shortcode like [ameliabooking service=1 employee=1]. You can see the IDs of both the service and the employees when you visit the corresponding sections in back-end.
List of all our shortcodes can be seen on our FAQ page.
If all you see is the shortcode, that usually implies Amelia is not active on your website. A lot of users use Elementor, and it's working fine.
Also, [ameliabooking service=1 employee=1] is just an example, you need to find the correct IDs.
If you can't get it to show, please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party.
You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
I am also interested in a single URL for employees to give out via email or social media to book a specific service/meeting - without needing to create an individual WordPress page with shortcodes for each employee/service combo.
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
Please feel free to add it as a feature suggestion on this page. Although, I must say that I'm not too confident something like this could be added to the plugin. It's just not how it works.
I will add it as a feature suggestion. I hope your team truly considers implementing URL parameters. Honestly, without such features, Amelia really offers no value to serious businesses or users who are above newbies.
Hello there,

Is this possible, and if so, how?

Hello there,
I've tried to input that shortcode using the shortcode widget in elementor but nothing happens, it just adds the text to my screen.
Am I doing it wrong? Is there another way to add the shortcode?
Please advise

I know this is possible with most non-WordPress-based booking platforms and is done with URL parameters, such as https://www.example.com/schedule?employee=John%20Doe&service=Personal%20Training

Hello Jordon
Thank you for your feedback. I actually did not know that. Thank you!
To use the popup, first verify you updated Amelia to v2.9.1
You need to add an ID to the Edit button "ameliaPopUpButton":
Then, you need to enable "Prevent Closing on Overlay":
And then, when you're adding the shortcode in the pop-up, you need to add it as [ameliabooking trigger=ameliaPopUpButton]
