The chart engines we use in wpDataTables are free and somewhat limited. You cannot add any sliders or drop-downs to filter the chart, as charts use wpDataTable's filtering options. If you need to filter the chart, you need to enable "Follow table filtering" in a chart, and to post both the table and the chart on the same page.
