We've been running the plugin without any issues for a 18 months. We updated to the latest Wordpress (5.4.2) today and are experiencing some problems.
I can't save settings. Clicking the Save button doesn't do anything.
Clicking the Column List button doesn't show the columns. Though selecting individual columns via the table lets me view the column settings - but I can't save changes.
There is text (tooltip text I think) displaying out of place (see screenshot )
I'm connecting to a mysql db on another server - the Test Connection says Successful and the tables are displaying data from it

Sorry to hear you're having issues with the plugin.
This shouldn't be caused by WordPress update. I'm running 5.4.2 locally, and the plugin has been tested to work with the latest WordPress version.
This does look like a conflict with another plugin, though, but I can't say much without taking a look.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party.

Tables still work fine on Front End

Just an update - the Debug Log shows this:

Hi Aleksandar
You were right - It was a plugin conflict - WP Frontend Profile. I removed it and wpdatatables is fine.
Thanks for your help. Your plugin plus the Filters and Master Details Addons are excellent.
thanks
You're welcome Jeff
