Hi. I have disabled the option to display the "Bringing anyone with you" option, yet all the services are showing it anyway in the frontend. I have had to disable limits on each service and rely on the global option to allow overbookings, which is not ideal. Please look into your option to disable the "Bringing anyone with you" option, because it doesn't seem to be working.
Also, I'm having a lot of issues with my clients when using Amelia. You guys really need to add more flexibility to this plugin.
- When configuring addons, if they don't involve extra time there is an ugly "/" shown on the frontend. Please fix that.
- It often happens that pricing is highly variable and cannot be shown in a simple form. I don't understand why the service description is not been shown after selecting a service, as that can be used to convey pricing information. And Amelia should allow for a "Varied pricing" option or similar, where there is no price and the Amelia admin can set their own text.
- It is not possible to configure total appointments per employee per day. This is absurd and the biggest issue so far. Just because x number of each service type can be accommodated per day, doesn't also mean that the max quantity of every service can be piled together. Example, 4x windshield repairs or 4x headlight restorations doesn't mean 8x services can be done in a day - it means 4 total services can be done.
- It is still not possible to let customers choose a general period for their appointment rather than a fixed service duration over a fixed slot. This presents issues for so many of my clients. It's not nice needing some sort of workaround for everything. Just make Amelia more flexible with how services are booked.
- Similarly, it is still not possible for Amelia admins to configure general booking windows that take precedence over the duration of any particular service. An extremely common example is something like a business having many different short services like battery replacement, windshield repair etc. that are 30-60 min long each but they have to attend to callouts in a logical order to minimise time and fuel wasted. So they simply want to have two booking windows per day, like 08:00 - 12:00 and 12:00 - 17:00, and restrict the total service bookings for each to a given number. And on Friday and Saturday the second window period would be something like 12:00 - 15:00 with a lower limit on bookings.
Please on my bended knees can the devs start adding more options to Amelia. I'm genuinely wondering if this plugin is maintained by a single person - the pace of updates is absolutely glacial.
The option "Bringing anyone with you" will be shown on the front-end if the option Allow booking below minimum capacity: in Amelia -> Settings -> Appointments is disabled, because of the minimum capacity per service set. You need to enable this option and you won't have the Bringing anyone with you option on the front-end.
I will add your feature requests to our list, and if there is some similar/same feature request in the list I will add your vote for them.
The Service description is shown when you use the Catalog view in Amelia ([ameliacatalog] shortcode).
We implement as many new features and options as we can in each update of Amelia. We have a lot of feature requests and the most requested ones are in the top of our list.
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help.

I found the issue. The call was being blocked by the 6G WAF. Thanks for your effort Marija.
Hi Bryn,
Glad to see the issue is gone, thank you for letting us know.
You are welcome!
