I was reading several tickets about this point. AMELIA at moment doesn't include VAT option as I can see.
Just to request to your developer team to add this point in your roadmap. Maybe we really don't need a full VAT system just a visual option on front-end where we can choose on backend prices with VAT or without VAT and an option to change text (VAT included), Gross prices.... Nevertheless we can play with these texts with Loco Tranlate or with .po and .mo files, you don't need to implement it on your backend.
For instance:
Are you going to show prices with or without VAT?
No VAT -> then nothing to do.
With VAT -> Tell me % for all site -> And just add lines on frontend with automatic calculation {Price / 1,21 (21% in Spain)} and show both prices but at end the right price is the service price.
This could be a basic solution for most of us. Of course, we should always fill all service prices with the final price that client is going to pay. If client needs an invoice this is something that is outside AMELIA's scope.
Thank you for your purchase, and for your suggestion.
At the moment, as you know, adding Tax is only available through WooCommerce, but I will forward your suggestion to our development team, so they can work on it for the future.
