I'm not seeing a way to customize notifications to users based on whether it's in-person, at a location vs. virtually via Zoom. Will notifications show the Zoom info if I put it in the body of the notification email if it's not actually a Zoom event? Am I missing something?
At the moment, notifications are universal for all services, so you would need to structure your email like (for example):
"If you scheduled an appointment in person, we're waiting for you at %location_address%; If you've added a custom address, someone will contact you to confirm it; If you scheduled an appointment via Zoom, you can join our employee on this link: %zoom_join_url%"
If the appointment (service) doesn't have the Zoom option enabled in Service settings, the Zoom link will not be forwarded to the customer.
Ok. Thanks for the information. That's what I've done so far, but I was somewhat surprised that there's not a way to have a separate notification based on it being a Zoom meeting vs. in-person.
Since your response begins with, "At the moment..." does that mean this is something you're looking into and it might become available at some point in the future?
Of course, we plan on improving every aspect of Amelia, but it's a long process, as there are a lot of things to optimize, and a lot of requests by our customers. Our development team will work on notifications as well, and different templates per Service or location is planned. When it will be implemented, however, I cannot say.
We're doing stuff based on our customers' requests. More people vote for a feature, sooner will that feature be developed. You can add this as a feature suggestion on this page, so our developers add a vote to it.
