NO email notifications working... HELP!!!

Hi there. BIG ISSUE with notifications, thank you for your help.

I have installed Amelia and am putting through test customer bookings to ensure that all email notifications are firing. I've done this by setting one of the services to a cost of zero dollars. I then booked the service using a separate email address.

The flow of notifications is supposed to go like this:

New Customer Action: customer books a service

Amelia: Sends Customer Notification: Customer account created

Amelia: Sends Customer Notification: Pending Appointment created

Amelia: Sends Employee Notification: pending Appointment created, please approve

    Employee Action: approves appointment

Amelia: Sends Customer Notification: appointment is now approved.

But when I book a service, none of the above templated email notifications are being sent.

This is what is happening now:

New Customer Action: books a service

Amelia: Sends Customer Notification "your account has been created"  (there is no template for this!) (Screenshot attached).

Amelia: Sends Customer Notification: "your order is being processed" (there is no template for this, either!!!). (screenshot attached)

AND ZERO EMAILS TO EMPLOYEES notifying them of the new appointment.

I also noticed that when I went into the "Appointment pending" notification template, when I hit the "Send test Email" button, this would not work and I would get this message instead: "ERROR: this email was not sent."

    PLEASE HELP.

We are trying to launch ASAP and this is totally not working!!!

    Hello Timothy

These two emails you added as screenshots are not Amelia's emails. The "Account created" is probably coming from a membership plugin, or a customized WordPress email that allows your customers to log into WordPress back-end with Amelia Customer user role. However, since it is customized, it doesn't even have to be the Amelia User role (you need to check that). The second email is most likely coming from WooCommerce, if you've enabled WooCommerce as the payment option in Amelia.

Have you configured Notifications? If you have, please note that the issue with email notifications could be caused by several reasons:

    1. Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings, and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings.

    2. Your website has PHP version less than 7

    3. The credentials are not correct

    4. There's something else blocking the notifications from being sent.

    5. If you're using gmail, check if you've enabled "Allow less secure apps" in your Google Account.

There is no template for "Customer account created". If you want to allow your customers to log into Front-end Customer Panel, you need to add the %customer_panel_url% placeholder in "Appointment Pending" and "Appointment Approved" email templates.

Please check these points, and let me know if you were able to resolve the issue. If you're not able to resolve the issue, please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party.

You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    Kind Regards,

    Hello again Timothy

As far as I can see, the test notifications work:

If you can't get it to show up in your inbox, please check your Spam folder as well.

As for WooCommerce emails, I can see only these with a check mark have been enabled:

Maybe you have an add-on for WooCommerce that's sending some other emails? Would you be able to check that? I don't know that much about their settings, so I'd be looking through their documentation as well.

    Kind Regards,
