The language that you choose in your WordPress General Settings is applied to Amelia as well (if there is such language in Amelia of course). Translations are done by our users, so there can be some missing strings in some languages. You can check if these strings are translated in your language when you open the .po file for your language (you can open it in a text editor) that you will find at location
../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages
Please delete any cache on your website after you change the language.
Any missing strings can be translated using POEDIT or Loco Translate for example. If you want to use POEDIT then this is the instruction:
4. Open the program and open the file from the extracted folder on your computer ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/wpamelia-fr_FR.po.
5. Translate the strings.
6. Save the translation.
7. Go to ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/ folder and copy these two files - wpamelia-fr_FR.po and wpamelia-fr_FR.mo back to your website to the location ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/.
This is an example for French language, but you will choose yours.

is there a language file that i'm missing?
sadly locotranslate will destroy the backend localisation.

3. Download and install POEDIT.

for me it's not a problem to translate plugins and themes, i'm in wordpress since 2004.
but this was really strange, a have to delete *mo locally and also on server after every changing.
