Thank you for being so understanding, and we hope you enjoy the long weekend!
I am looking to use Amelia as an appointment booking plugin as well as an event calendar. Our store plans to have set times that are available for appointment only as well monthly events and seminars.
Is it possible to have both types of calendars using Amelia? I currently have Amelia set up on our website as an appointment booking plugin, but I am trying to determine the best configuration to also use this plugin as an event calendar. When you view the Amelia plugin on our website it makes you select a service type before viewing the calendar. Ideally, you'd be able to see the calendar and have the option to either view/schedule events or schedule an appointment.
Any help that you can provide is greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Hello Chris Noonan,
Thank you for your purchase.
You can have both Events and Services/appointments available on the website with Amelia, but they have different shortcodes and are separate booking forms. You can't have both Events and Services in one shortcode/Amelia view.
You can find all of the shortcodes that you can use on your pages in our FAQ section. And. you need to use one of the [ameliaevents] shortcodes in order to have them available for booking on the front-end. Events are presented in a List view on the front-end, not Calendar view like Services.
If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to ask,
