I'm trying to set up amelia for a listing photography booking website. The objective is to be able to have once they click "book" on the site:
To be able to click on a photographer
the calendar to load and the client be able to select a date then time
then a form will load that the customer will complete to be able to determine the final price and time of the shoot.
I am having issues with setting up a service to achieve my end goal. I'm not sure how i can setup a service or use the extras to be added has if they were checkboxes that can increase the total price and time. I've attached a screenshot of the breakdown of what I hope to achieve. Any assistance would be great!
Service can have only one price. You can add paid extras to the service, so the price is increased based on what your customers select, but the flow that you're looking for cannot be achieved. This is how it goes:
1. Customers choose a service, an employee and the location (optional).
2. They choose the extras they need
3. They pick the date and then they pick the time
4. They enter their details, and book the service
This is the flow of the booking process, and it cannot be changed.
You may want to shorten down the list of Extras by creating multiple categories and services under them, so your customers can choose from available services, and then add extras.
