I hold some licences to Amelia but am trying out the Lite version, hoping it will work for a very simple use-case. When I try to create and save an event, it appears as if it has done so - and shows no error messages - yet the event is never saved! I demonstrated it in a video here: https://www.loom.com/share/7065668cb9a947718aef0b1a5241c909
My primary reason for testing this Lite version is to determine whether an event list can be printed from Amelia. That is, immediately prior to the event I want to print a report that would indicate who was coming to the event and how many people they were bringing with them.
I'm running WP on a localhost, by the way (Local by Flywheel).
I just created one event on our testing website (Lite) version, I followed your steps (other dates as the 24th 00:00 is gone) but there aren't any issues with saving the event. Could you please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Please note that there isn't a possibility of Exporting Attendees in the Lite version of Amelia, unfortunately.
The issue is probably because I am, as I mentioned to you in my initial email, running on a localhost. Therefore, you won't be able to log into the website unless I post it where you can access it! Thanks for the offer anyway.
Looking forward, if I have to go ahead and install the full version of Amelia:
1. Can I do so with a specific licence key and then transfer it to another WP installation? I ask this for two reasons: I will continue to work and test Amelia on a WP installation that will not be its final place and, I may want to install it there for only a short time and then use it on another website, realizing that it won't work any longer on the previous website. (I am not trying to misuse the licence, just move it from one place to another.)
2. Where is the function of exporting attendees in the software? I have combed through the Amelia docs and can't find any mention of it. Would such an export be good enough to be used in a simple spreadsheet, listing the event attendee's name and how many people were accompanying them?
Apologies for replying late, we don't work on weekends.
Sorry, I overlooked that you are on a localhost.
1. Yes, you can move your license from one website to another. When you login to the store you will find the Manage domains button for your purchase code and there you can delete the old domain where you have Amelia activated on, and then activate it on a new one in Amelia -> Settings -> Activation.
2. When you click on Attendees button in the Events list (for one of the events) above the attendees list you will see the export button. It will export the attendees in a CSV file. Please look at the attachments
If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to ask,
