Appointments are being added to my google calendar in GMT instead of PST.  In other words, if a client schedules an appointment for 12:30PM PST it will add to my calendar at 5:30AM (which is 12:30 PST in GMT).

Additionally, the appointment says "with %client_full_name%" instead of actually putting the client's name.

    Hello Russell,

Could you please check have you set your City timezone in your WordPress -> Settings -> general? The timezone you set there is the one applied to the Amelia back-end, so please check if your Google calendar is in the same timezone as your WordPress.

Let me know if this helped.

Additionally, the appointment says "with %client_full_name%" instead of actually putting the client's name.

Could you please tell me where is this information in your Google calendar?

For any information about appointments in Amelia, you want to have in your Google calendar, you can add placeholders to the fields Event Title and Event Description which you will find in Amelia -> Settings -> Google calendar settings. You can find all the placeholders when you click on </>Show Email Placeholders in Amelia -> Notifications, by clicking on the placeholder in the list you copy it and then you can paste that placeholder to the above mentioned fields in Amelia Settings.

Thank you very much for the pointer on the time zone in Wordpress.  It was indeed set to GMT. I have adjusted that to my local time zone.

The %client_full_name% placeholder is appearing in the appointment name on my calendar.  I have attached a screenshot showing this.

Also, Amelia will automatically generate a zoom link for zoom enabled appointments, but it does not place the meeting URL in the appointment that it puts on my calendar. Is this possible?

    Hello Russell,

You are welcome. Glad to see the issue with the time difference is solved.

There isn't a %client_full_name% placeholder in Amelia. There is a %customer_full_name% placeholder. You need to copy/paste the exact placeholders that you want to have in the Google calendar events created for Amelia appointment from the Email placeholders list on the Amelia -> Notifications page. Please check the instructions that I sent in my previous response in order to add information about appointments in Amelia to your Google calendar events.

Thank you very much. You have helped me resolve all of my questions. Appointments now show on my calendar in my local time, with the client's name in the description on my calendar, with the contact info int he notes.  Super!
