    Hi,

Hope all is well. I have a recording studio client that is interested in getting Amelia for his online booking. While I have some knowledge within the plugin, there are a couple of scenario-based questions I have.

    1. Due to multiple employees sharing one space, to avoid scheduling conflicts the client is looking to connect each employee to the same universal Google calendar. Is it possible to connect multiple employees to one Google Calendar?

    2. Is there a way to set a minimum amount of hours needed to book a service? Ex: Customers can only book for a minimum of 2 hours for a service?

    3. Are deposits available?

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hi Ken,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

    1. Yes, it is possible and I would advice exactly the same workaround to avoid double bookings. Each employee can have only one Google calendar connected with his account but that calendar can be the same for all employees.

    2. Admin sets service duration, if 2 hours is a minimum you can set service duration to 2 hours and in that way once customer chooses the service he will see available 2 hours time slots and will not be able to book less. If you need to give your customers an option to choose to book even more hours I have two solutions for this: If you just have one service like 'Booking recording studio' I would advice to create multiple services and give them different durations and named them like that so the customer can know, or you can just create one service with minimum duration of 2 hours and create extras so the customer can choose whether he wants extra service (extra duration) to be added. Each extra can have its own price if you need.

    3. Deposits are not available at the moment. We have this option on our To Do list but we still need to implement some more requested features before we can start working on this one. What you can do is to set deposit amount as a service price and then add a custom field on the booking form to inform customers that the rest will be paid on site. You can also add that info in the confirmation main that they can receive after the booking.

    Best regards.
