    Hello Roy

Activation of the plugin doesn't have anything to do with the plugin being present on your website or not.

If you've created tables from Google Spreadsheets, and you have wpDataTables version less than 3.0.1, then this is the issue.

Please download the full version from the email you received when you purchased the plugin (some hostings treat it as Spam, so please check your Spam folder as well). Also, you received an email with credentials for our store https://store.tms-plugins.com/login where you can download the full version fom.

My suggestion is to update the plugin manually by following these steps:

1.) Download zip from our store or from the email you received when you purchased the plugin

2.) Use FTP to open /yourwordpressfolder/wp-content/plugins

    3.) Delete existing wpdatatables folder.

4.) Upload the previously downloaded wpdatatables folder through FTP into "plugins" folder (unzip it)

5.)  Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section.

6.) Deactivate wpDataTables Plugin, and then activate it again.

7.) Clear server and browser cache

    ____________________________________________________________________________________________

If you are on hosting where you are not allowed to access your FTP, then follow these instructions:

Please note that, before deleting the plugin from the Plugins page, it is recommended to enable the option "Prevent deleting tables in database" in main settings of the plugin if you want to keep your tables after deletion from the Plugins page. If you uncheck this option, all your tables will be deleted and you will need to create them again.

1.) Download zip from our store or from the email you received when you purchased the plugin

2.) Delete wpDataTables plugin from WordPress' Plugins page

    3) Click on Add new in top left of your Plugins page

    4) Click on Upload plugin in top left of your Plugins page

5.) Choose the previously downloaded wpdatatables.zip file

6.) When uploading is done, please Activate wpDataTables plugin

7.) Clear server and browser cache.

Please note that our plugin is around 14 MB in size, so if you are not able to upload it through WordPress plugins page, you will need to increase the following:

    upload_max_file size,

    post_max_size,

    max_execution_time

You should be able to find these values in your php.ini file or on your hosting panel. If you can't find it yourself please ask your hosting provider to provide it.

You also need to update the add-on as well.

    Kind Regards,

    Hello Aleksander,

I do have 3.01 and it all worked well. I checked a few things and what i see is that all settings re beack to standard and i can not change them. This cause  i can not press any button, nothing happends when pushing the  activate or save button. You see them clicking but nothing happends.  Tried with other plugins there i can change and save settings.

Would you login to my system to see for yourself?  I tried a few browsers that doesnt chnage anything.

Please not also the "Prevent deleting tables in database" is not enabled so we have to be careful i can not lose any of my data!

    Please help,

    Roy

    Solved by Siteground Admins.

There was a problem with Cloudflare cache. Seem that more sites where affected.

    All working again.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi again Roy

Thank you for pointing that out to me. Can you tell me, do you know what they did? We have some issues with our other plugin - Amelia - and Cloudflare, so this can be connected.

The issues occurred a few days ago, so it may be a recent update of Cloudflare? I wouldn't know, but any information is greatly appreciated.

    Hello Aleksander,

I checked with Siteground but they didnt anwer my question till now.

The only thing i did was Purge the Cache from Cloudflare in the Backend of the hostingplatform.

I asked for more info but still no answer,

Thank you for trying to get more info, Roy

The other customer resolved the issue by disabling Cloudflare on the pages where Amelia is on, so for now we can consider this resolved.

If they do answer, please do share that with me.

    Best regards!
