Hi, I just purchased Amelia and I was looking to use it for a really specific purpose, i'd really appreciate if you can help me do that.
I have multiple groups in my website, lets call each Group G1 and each member M1, meaning that G1M1 is Member #1 of Group #1.
G1M1 logins to the website, goes to their member page to book an event that is coming up this week. G1M2 does the same to that SAME event, or a different one, but both of them are special to their group ONLY.
G2M1 does the same but this event is special to them, other groups cannot see this event. And so on.
Also, not only other groups cannot book others' events, but they also cannot see it.
I really hope that you got what i'm trying to achieve here. I already have Groups plugin, but i couldn't find anywhere in Amelia where i can use that plugin.
There isn't a possibility for memberships in Amelia with its current built-in features and there isn't an integration with the plugin you mentioned, Groups, so this is why you can't see it anywhere in Amelia.
Amelia events are shown on the front-end the same for all customers/members. Some work-around would be if you can restrict the access of your members to different pages on your website and provide different shortcodes on different pages that can be accessed by different members from your groups.
In Amelia you can create different shortcodes for Events, for example you can create Tags for each group you made and then add the Tags to each event it should be shown for that group. These are the shortcodes you can use for Events in Amelia:
[ameliaevents] if you want to show list of all your events,
[ameliaevents tag=’name’] if you want to show just the events that belongs to the same tag defined during the creation of events, where “name” will be replaced with the tag name,
[ameliaevents event=1] if you want to show only the event with ID 1 without its recurring events
But again, in Amelia, they would all be the same - customers. There isn't a possibility of dividing customers in groups in Amelia.
If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to ask,
