I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
You could, however, utilize a membership plugin which will allow you to block access to a certain page for a group. For instance, user role "group1" cannot access the page "Group 2 events", and vice versa.
Then, when you create separate events for each group, you need to assign Tags to them (for example "g1" and "g2" tags). On "Group 1 events", you should add the shortcode like
