WPDATATABLES: In a table with Last_Name, First_Name and other columns, I want to limit search to a specific string. For example, searching the First_Name field I want to find "Albert" but NOT "Albertson" or "Alberta" and searching the Last_Name field I want to find "Smith" NOT "Smithson" or "Smithly". Conversely, what wildcard can be used in WPDataTables? [Wayne]
Hello Wayne
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
At the moment, search and filters are looking for partial matches, and that cannot be changed. Please add that as a feature suggestion on this page, so our developers have it in mind for one of our future updates.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
