In order for customers to edit their appointment they must first become users on my website (subscriber), then they can edit appointments from the back end.
I was wondering, is there a better way to do this in terms of the way it looks or adding customization to back end users section. If I use a membership plug in (like memberpress) will the back end section where people edit their appointment be more customizable, or will it look the same as it does now?
Please advise or tell me if I need to elaborate more.
You can only do this in combination with a membership plugin, since they can block the booking page for non-logged-in users. Amelia doesn't have those features yet.
You won't see any new config with this, and you will need to assign your users the "Amelia Customer" user role. Amelia can't recognize the "subscriber" role. If you need them to have that role, you can add multiple roles with User Role Editor plugin (for example).
