I can't see any option or way to send the new customer an email with their automatically generated password when they first book in.
i.e. they book in and get a customer control panel email which says they can amend their booking but there is no way of them accessing this without clicking on the forgotten password link.
You can add the %customer_panel_url% in your "Appointment approved" email notification.
Then, your customers will be directed to the page where they can create a password for the customer panel (if you enable the password), or enter their email, so the system can send them a unique access token via email.

Hello Bianca
Thank you for your purchase.
