I have some issues using Amelia:
1.-  How could I delete restrictions changing appointments?, If a Client want to move and arrive 1 hour later I cant change if its the same day.
2.- If a client make an appointment Login Data arrive to the mail and when the user set the password it redirects to wordpress backend, how could I redirect to Amelia Account?
3.- If a client make an appointment without select an employee. Amelia assign to the first employee so its not equally. So I would know if there's a possibility to assign the same number or one and one appointment. It is a huge problem cause an employee never is assigned :(
4.- From the backend how could I add extras ?

I hope you can help me! :(  Pls I tried to fix it but Its so difficult for me.

    Hello Axel

    1. You can allow the customers to reschedule by enabling the slider in Amelia settings/User roles/Customer. You should also lower (or remove) the Minimum time required before canceling/rescheduling in Amelia's General settings.

    2. If you don't want your customers to receive wp-admin credentials, you should disable "Automatically create Amelia Customer role" in Amelia settings/User roles/Customer. Then, you should add %customer_panel_url% placeholder in the Appointment Approved notification, so they can access the customer panel you previously set up in Amelia.

    3. When "Any Employee" is selected, Amelia selects the employee randomly. At the moment there are no settings to evenly distribute appointments across employees.

    4. You can add extras to each service individually, when you access the Service and go to "Extras" tab.

    Kind Regards,

Hello Aleksandar Thanks so much for your response!
1.- I already have that setting. There are not a minimun time required before cancelling or rescheduling but in the backend I cannot move an appointment in the same day or days before. I think this is a mistake of Amelia, others is more cause of bussiness needs.

2.-Ok I wil try it, thanks.
3.-How could I know if my client select random option...? Maybe mark with a ::before symbol when an employee mark as random. Then I could change the employee in the backend. If you could tell me where in the edit plugin option I can add this would be great, I undertand PHP basics.
    4.-Ok, perfect.
I hope you could help me for point 1 and 3 cause is really important that options in the CMS.
    Have a nice day!

  • Axel replied

This is the option which is not working.
The client or the admin cant modify appointments to the same day

    Hello Axel

    1. I would need to remote into your website and take a look. Please explain where exactly this doesn't work (I assume it's the calendar, right?) and provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party.

You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    3. Unfortunately, something like this is not so easily changed. JS files are modified (minimized) in public version of plugin (in our development environment is accessible), but unfortunately I can not send you our source code because that is the policy of our company.

All those files that have extension .vue are compressed and minimized in JS files that is very hard and not recommended modifying. So in order to add some other features you can unminify the js and customize it.

Please don't forget to enable the PRIVATE response if you're posting your credentials.

    Hi again Axel

I see you have an old version of Amelia (2.4), which was released back in January.

With the new version, you are able to set the dates in the past as well, so please update the plugin to the latest version, and you will be able to make these changes.

Please download the full version from the email you received when you purchased the plugin (some hostings treat it as Spam, so please check your Spam folder as well). Also, you received an email with credentials for our store https://store.tms-plugins.com/login where you can download the full version from.

My suggestion is to update the plugin manually by following these steps:

1.) Download zip from our store or from the email you received when you purchased the plugin

2.) Use FTP to open /yourwordpressfolder/wp-content/plugins

    3.) Delete existing ameliabooking folder.

4.) Upload the previously downloaded ameliabooking folder through FTP into "plugins" folder (unzip it)

5.)  Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section.

6.) Deactivate Amelia Plugin, and then activate it again.

7.) Clear server and browser cache

    ____________________________________________________________________________________________

If you are on hosting where you are not allowed to access your FTP, then follow these instructions:

Please note that after you delete the plugin from your Plugins section, you WILL NOT lose your data.

1.) Download zip from our store or from the email you received when you purchased the plugin

2.) Delete Amelia plugin from WordPress' Plugins page

    3) Click on Add new in top left of your Plugins page

    4) Click on Upload plugin in top left of your Plugins page

5.) Choose the previously downloaded ameliabooking.zip file

6.) When uploading is done, please Activate Amelia plugin

7.) Clear server and browser cache.

Please note that our plugin is around 8 MB in size, so if you are not able to upload it through WordPress plugins page, you will need to increase the following:

    upload_max_file size,

    post_max_size,

    max_execution_time

You should be able to find these values in your php.ini file or on your hosting panel. If you can't find it yourself please ask your hosting provider to provide it.

    Kind Regards,

    Aleksandar Vuković

    Hello Axel

You won't lose anything. Amelia doesn't delete any database tables when deleted from the website.
