With my working hours set to 10:00 - 18:00 every day, and service duration time set to 4 hours, i am only showing that i can book an appointment from 10:00-2:00 on any given day. How do i change this to show two appointments? 10:00-2:00 and 2:00-6:00.
Also, right now, if a customer booked an appointment, it still shows the time slot available even after confirming it. How do i change this so it is not available?
Could you please check if you have some buffer times for the service? If yes, please delete them and let me know if this helped in showing two available time slots for booking in a day.
You need to disable the option Allow booking below minimum capacity: in Amelia -> Settings -> Appointments. If this option is enabled multiple (separate) customers will be able to book the same appointment until the max capacity is reached. If this option is disabled customers will need to fill the minimum in the booking but once the min is set no other customers will be able to book that same appointment. You can read more about appointments settings here.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
I have another question. When a customer books and appointment, when it sends out the notification email confirming the appointment, is it possible to have a pdf attachment sent with the email? If so, how do i do this?
I believe i have the notification email set up right now but when i make a test appointment i still don't get the email. Only when i sent a test email did i get it.
Unfortunately, it isn't possible to send PDF attachments via email notifications in Amelia.
Please check your Spam/Junk folder as well, depending on your email notifications configuration, some emails can be flagged as spam/junk or received later by some mail service providers. We don't recommend using PHP Mail as a Mail service option for Notifications settings because of these reasons. You can read more about the notifications settings here - https://wpamelia.com/notification-settings/.
Have one last question then I should be ready to publish.
How do I set up the PayPal feature for Amelia? Is the a forum or procedure I could follow? I thought I would just be able to enter the Live Client ID and Live Secret, but I believe there is more to it that I do not understand.
Is this something I would have to contact PayPal for support with?
You can check out the instructions for setting up PayPal in Amelia here. There are the steps for the taking the test credentials from PayPal but it is the same for Live you just need to switch to Live in your PayPal account
