Thank you for being so understanding, and we hope you enjoy the long weekend!
Hello, installed loco translate plugin to translate amelia to portuguese but it is not working. It is still showing in english.
Help please.
Hello Oskar Lima,
Thank you for your purchase and apologies for replying late, we are not working on weekends.
Could you please tell me have you chosen your language (Portuguese) in your WordPress -> Settings -> General? If yes, please deactivate and activate Amelia back on and delete cache.
Let me know if this helped.
Hello! No worries.
Yes, portuguese was already chosen. You can see in the picture attached.
Hello Oskar,
Thank you. In order for Amelia to have this translation a folder with this translation (with the po and mo files) should be added to location wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages
Could you please check if there is a folder there for your language? There is probably some setting in Loco translate, where you add a new language so these po and mo files need to be created in Amelia (on the location above) in order for the language to be shown in Amelia.
Hey Marija,
Just added the files but still not working. Do I have to enable it somewhere?
Hello Oskar,
Please deactivate and activate Amelia back on the Plugins page, and delete cache. Amelia language (if there is the translation for the language of course in Amelia) is the one you choose in your WordPress -> Settings -> General.
Solved it.
Gosh... I had portuguese in wordpress but amelia is brazilian portuguese.
Well, thanks for your time. Great support
Great, glad to see the issue is gone
thank you for letting us know.
You are welcome!
