If I create an event with multiple dates, the customer can't book a chosen date from the front end. All occurrences of the event in backend also show the same number of booked spots. Also if the customer is being booked for i.e. 3 dates, why are they shown the total price for just one?
Is there any way to make it work other than create an event for every date?
If you create one event with multiple dates, it is still counted as one event in Amelia, and the price set is for the whole event, for all dates. And when customers book this event, they book all of the dates for this event.
Unfortunately, there isn't another way but creating an event for each date.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
just came across this post. I didn't realize that customers can only book a recurring event once...
If I have to re-create 50 yoga classes every week because repeated customers cannot book them otherwise, I need to change the booking system, so it would be great to know if this this something you're planning on fixing in the near future?
The use case described bellow isn't a recurring event, it is one event with more dates. So, the recurring event option isn't enabled, they asked about setting up more separate dates for one event and that is counted as one event. When you create an event and enable the option This is recurring event and set the recurrence to weekly or monthly or yearly the recurred events created are separate events that can be booked separately.
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help.
Yes that would be it, but unfortunately there isn't such option in Amelia, the recurring events can be on the same dates and the recurrence can set to be weekly, monthly or yearly. You would need to create separate events for your use case.

Marija, thank you for explaining this.
So the functionality I need is actually a recurring event with irregular dates that I can define.
You are welcome, Alena.
