    Hello Support,

I need help with the following two things:

    1. How do I restrict the site visitors from making same day appointments?

For example, if someone wants to book an appointment for the 5th of July, 2020, they should be able to do so ONLY on or before July 4th and should not be able to book an appointment on July 5th even if that date has available appointments.

How do I get this done?

    2. How do I keep the appointment calendar open only for a few days and not for one whole year as it is currently?

For example, I only want to keep the calendar open for 14 days. Assuming the date today is 30th June, 2020, then the visitor of the site should be able to book appointments only from 1st of July to the 14th of July.

And on tomorrow the 1st of July, the visitors should be able to book appointments only from 2nd of July to the 15th of July.

How do I get this done?

Please respond at the earliest as this is urgent, thanks.

    Hello Anand Chakravarthy,

    Thank you for your purchase.

    1. There is an option for that Minimum time required before booking: which you will find in Amelia -> Settings -> General which applies to all Services, and you can set it per service when you open the Service modal on the Amelia -> Services page under the Settings tab in General. With it you set the period before the appointment in which customers won't be able to book that service.

    2. Like the option in point 1, there is the option Period available for booking in advance:  which can be set globally to all services in Amelia -> Settings -> General and per service in the Service modal. With it you set the days that will be bookable in advance, the default value is 365, 1 year.

You can read more about General settings here

If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
