I manage online bookings for a lawn bowling club. We need to slot members into groups of four for games that have start times staggered by five minutes. The person who manages the games (the drawmaster) needs some control over who plays against who. So, what I imagine happening in Amelia is:

    • A member books a spot—no later than Tuesday—to play in the Wednesday evening games. Typically, we’d have between 30 and 60 members each evening.

    • On Wednesday, the drawmaster organizes all the members who have signed up into balanced groups of four and assigns each group a start time.

    • Amelia sends a notification to the member with the precise start time.

Is this possible and easy with Amelia? What would be the best way to set this up so the drawmaster’s work is minimized?

    Thanks!

    HI Martin,
    Thank you for your inquire.

Sorry for late response, we are not working on weekends.

Can you please first tell me are the games durations are passing midnight, for example member wants to book game from 23:00 to 01:00?

    Best regards.

    Kind Regards,

No, there are no games passing through midnight. The start times would be between about 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

    Thanks,

    Martin

    Hi Martin,

    Ok, thanks for the answer.

    • A member books a spot—no later than Tuesday—to play in the Wednesday evening games. Typically, we’d have between 30 and 60 members each evening.

This is possible. You can set the time slots and working hours for each service that you provide.

    • On Wednesday, the drawmaster organizes all the members who have signed up into balanced groups of four and assigns each group a start time.

Your employee (drawmaster) will have the list of all appointments that are made for that period, but there is no option in our plugin to make some kind of group matches. This is something that employee will need to do manually.

    • Amelia sends a notification to the member with the precise start time.

We do have notifications, that are sent to customers when they book an appointment.

My suggestion is to check out our demo sites https://wpamelia.com/demos/ to see how our plugin works and looks like.

Also since we do not have Trial version , we do have 15 days money-back guarantee so when you purchase the plugin you can use that period to test it out.

    Best regards.

    Kind Regards,
