We've got a luxury bathroom rental business and we are looking for an easy way to schedule and manage the rentals.
We've got 6 modular units that we haul around. We would love a system that could help our customers reserve the units for their events online and help us keep track of which unit is rented out for which event during what dates.
Differently than booking an appointment our units are booked for 2 entire days since we need about half a day to haul the unit to the event and connect it to electricity and water, we make sure to make the movement one day before the event just in case any eventualities come up, then we haul the unit back the next day which we consider about half a day. For each event we book a team consisting of the driver and one extra technician for hauling and installing the restrooms both one day before and after and cleaning personal for the hours of the event.
Being able to freeze each bathroom unit for the needed dates whenever a client reserves online would cover our basic need. If it can also auto appoint the cleaning personal and notify them about the appointment with sms reminders that would be awesome.
Unfortunately I am afraid that at the moment Amelia cannot be used for this use case since we don't support multi-day bookings for services. If I understood you right you need to create units in the place where our employees are and let customers choose date from available dates in the calendar - this is possible with services but services cannot last multiple days in our plugin at the moment - only time slots in one day. In our plugin only events can last multiple days but for events admin sets start and end date and customer cannot choose this, just book the place at the event (it can have capacity for 1 or multiple persons).
As for the notifications, we have notifications that can be sent to both customers and employees but we don't have option to assign two employees to the same service so they both receive notification.

Could Amelia be tweaked to handle this use-case?
Hi David,
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
Best regards.
