Do I need a seperate google calendar within my organisations google calendar, for each member of staff and so a different api for each when I try to integrate google and amelia? Or do I just link my one google account? Im finding a few things tricky.
The second question is if I change settings are they global as I am going to have different types of bookings so the global settings of time slots are not relevant. Eg. I sell glamping weekends that are two days long but also one hour time slots for activities. How do I add the glamping accommodation booking ability please (I have three locations for glamping and about ten locations/staff for activities only).
No, you don't need more Google accounts for the Google sync in Amelia. You synchronize Amelia with one account only in Amelia -> Settings -> Integrations -> Google calendar settings, and then connect each employee in Amelia to their Google calendar.
The available time slots for booking are set by configuring the employees' work hours. So , you need to assign services to employees and configure their work hours.
When you click on the 'pencil' icon you can edit that work time period, and by clicking on the '+' sign next to Apply to All days you add a new work time period. For each work time period you can assign different services and locations.
There isn't a possibility to set different locations for one work time period, though.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
hello, thanks, and what about the accomodation bookings I need to set that certain locations can be hired from Friday 3pm to Sunday (They are glamping sites for groups to book and stay at) how can I do over night two day bookings with amelia? x
There isn't a possibility to have Service duration longer than 24 hours in Amelia with its current built-in features, unfortunately. Check out the Events feature for this use case.
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help.
