Hello, I am considering your booking product for my website. I have a couple of questions. I am a solo owner/employee
1. on the website can the form have a default service pre-populated?
2. Since I am the only employee can my name be the default?
I am trying to reduce the number of clicks my clients would need to do
Thank you
Hi Luke,
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
In our plugin it is mandatory to create at least one employee and to connect it with services so the plugin would work properly but if you create just one employee then the employee selection will not be shown on the booking form. Also if you have just one service then this selection will be hidden as well and if you don't have multiple locations, group capacity or extras the calendar with available dates and time slots will be shown right away (if you use our Step-by-step booking form).
If you have multiple services the only option to set some service pre-populated would be to preselect booking parameter during the shortcode creation (to put a shortcode [ameliabooking service=2] with service ID), but in that way only the booking form for one service will be shown and the customer will not be able to see other services.
Best regards.
