Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    Hi

I am considering the Amelia plugin for my business and I have been playing with the demo sites. However, I am unable to display the booking slots in line with my requirements.

My business opening hours are from 05:30am - 10.30pm Monday to Friday and 08:00am - 08:00pm Saturday and Sunday. I have setup one employee and one service only within Amelia.

I want to offer 1 Hr training slots starting at 05:30am, so the first session would be from 05:30am - 06.30am. I then require a 15 min buffer before the start of subsequent sessions.

I have been trying every setting I can to get the available slots to display like

    05:30 - 06.30 | 06.45 - 07:45 | 08:00 - 09:00 | 09:15 - 10:15 | 10.15

It would appear from my testing that the only way to select a 15 min 'Buffer Time After:' at the end of the appointment is to go in to Settings => General Settings and set the 'Default Time Slot Step' to 15 mins. If you then turn on the 'Use Service Duration For Booking A Time Slot' this results in

    05:30 - 06:30 | 06.30 - 07.30 | 07.30 - 08.30 .... effectively ignoring the 'Buffer Time After'

If I turn off the 'Use Duration For Booking A Time Slot' this results in the following:

05:30 am - 06:30 am | 05.45 am - 06:45 am | 06.00 am - 07.00 am .... Which results in subsequent slots overlapping with the previous. You cannot start another booking for a slot within the previous slot so I do not understand this.

Removing the 15 min 'Buffer Time After' interval results in the same results as above.

None of the online demos appear to use Before/After buffers.

To me it is entirely logical and expected that you would want to operate a break between appointments and this Buffer Time After parameter should permit this. It appears not to work. Can you please simply provide me with the settings required in order to achieve this or is this a bug (v2.7).

If I am confident this can be done then I will purchase the plugin.

    Regards,

    Alan Jones

    Hi Alan,
    Thank you for your inquire.

The logic with using buffer time after and before is changed (due to request from our users) which unfortunately have the bad effect in the 2.7 version.

For the next update we are planing to add a setting to include old buffer times or the new ones, so in new version this issue will be fixed.

    Best regards.

    Kind Regards,
