How do set up the front end for the employees (doctors in our case) so that they can see their appointments etc ? We want a particular doctor to see only the appointment dashboard with payments , customer names etc and no other plugin feature. How do we achieve this?

I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
The employee's front-end panel will be included in one of our future updates, but it has not been created yet.

Ok...in that case, how do I give them backend access but limited access. By limited I mean a doctor can see his appointments only in the dashboard and not others.

All employees already have a limited view in back-end, but if you want them to stop seeing others appointments, you need to download the User Role Editor plugin, with which you can disable these:
