Hi,
I run a research laboratory and we need to find a scheduling solution to book individual rooms in the building to ensure only one person is there at a time. Can the Amelia plug in allow for booking of rooms rather than people. I also want employees to be able to see a view of the rooms and who's booked in when.
Kind regards,
Colin
Hi Colin Crawford,
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
Our plugin is more made for booking appointments with employees but something like this can be achieved if you create rooms in the place where our employees are. However since each employee needs to have separate profile and email you would need to setup separate email for each room or to use a workaround with adding +number before @ with the same email (if you plan to use google or yahoo mail), in that way plugin will see each address as a different one but all emails will go to the same email address.
As for the employees to be able to see who booked the room and when, you will need to give them Amelia WordPress manager user role so they can see the calendar with all rooms. If you give them Amelia WordPress employee user role they will be able to see booked appointments with only one room since in our plugin employee sees only his appointments.
Best regards.
