Trying to make my needs working to use Amelia in this project, I always find a little inconvenience:
Very important that you allow to use same email for different EMPLOYERS.
I have: as employer a kind of boat I rent (grand nautic, monterrey cruiser...) and as service (so I can have different prices by hour) paks of 1, 2, 3... hours.
But, when I create the employer (a boat to rent) it does not let me use same email always (of course, I need to use same email so I know when people has booked and paid a boat (employer).
In any other examples, like restaurants, spa, etc, it could be very normal that it is the boss or the owner of the restaurant who wants to receive all booking notifications and then send it to each employer if needed. In most cases the employer does not even need any email, if he is just paid to work from 8 to 17, for example. The owner need to have all email notifications.
Could it be possible? Thanks
Hello Isabel,
Unfortunately, it isn't possible to have the same email address for more than one employee in Amelia with its current built-in features. Employees must have different emails.
You can use one email address for more employees if you add +1, +2, etc. to it. This works on Gmail you can check if it works for your email service provider. So, if your email is [email protected], all these emails will be connected to this email address: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], etc. So all notifications will be sent to the same email address [email protected]
Hope this helps!
Yes, I thought to make a redirection from GMail. Thanks
But maybe it is something to take into account in future updates of the plugin ;-)
You are welcome, Isabel.
Yes, I will add it as a feature request to our list so it can be considered for implementation in the future.
If you have any other questions or issues feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help.
