We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
I would like your expert advice on how to organize the Amelia calendar.
I am running a travel agency and would like to use Amelia in order to create a reservations system.
We are offering multiple travel packages (like city tours, winery visits, car rental, yacht hire, etc.) and I need to adapt reservations according to the nature of each package or activity.
Do I need to create a separate and distinct event for each activity?
Is this the way to do it? > https://wpamelia.com/events-booking-view/
> Any other suggestions?

I am a little bit confused after watching the General Settings video tutorial.
Do I have to fix a Default Time Slot step for all services (events)? (see attachment).
I assume that for each event I would need a different Time Slot step + different service duration...
Regards,
Savas
Hello Savas
Thank you for your purchase.
The time slot step defines how you can configure your Services, working hours, breaks, and so on. If you set it to be 5 minutes and disable "Use service duration for booking a time slot", for a 1-hour service you will see the calendar like this:
09:00 - 10:00; 09:05 - 10:05; 09:10 - 10:10...
If you set it to be 15 minutes, you'll see:
09:00 - 10:00; 09:15 - 10:15; 09:30 - 10:30...
If you enable "Use service duration for booking a time slot", the service's duration will populate the calendar, like:
09:00 - 10:00; 10:00 - 11:00; 11:00 - 12:00...
Also, for 5 minute time slot, you will be able to set your employees working hours, breaks and service durations in 5 minute intervals. For example your employee can work for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, or 7 hours and 5 minutes.
For multiple travel packages you should create separate services, but each service needs to have a different employee working on it, since if one employee works on multiple services, and a customers book one, all other services will become unavailable during the duration of the first appointment.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
