We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Hi there, I'm wondering if the %service_duration% email placeholder takes the 'Extras' into account? For example, if a client books an appointment which is one hour long, and adds one extra hour as an 'extra', will this placeholder account for it and have the duration as 2 hours? TIA.

    HI Noelle,
    Thank you for your purchase.

Sorry to disappoint you but at the moment there is no placeholder that will sum service and extra duration in the notifications.

I forwarded your suggestion to our team so we can include for example%appointment_duration% (service duration + extra duration) in our future updates.

    Best regards.

    Kind Regards,

Thanks for your answer. I'm wondering is there any placeholder that I can use in my notification emails to show that extra time was purchased, such as total amount spent? Also, if I put in the Extras placeholders, but they have not purchased an extra, will that just show as the placeholder itself in the email for e.g as %service_extra_1_name% ? That would look awful. Thanks, Noelle.

    You are welcome, Noelle.

You would need to add the Extras placeholders in order to get these information in the email notifications. There is the Extra price placeholder which would specify the price of the placeholder chosen, but there isn't a placeholder for price of service+extra (appointment price). If you put the extras placeholders to the notifications they will show information about the extra if customers choose it in the booking process and if they don't this placeholder will just be an empty space in the email notification, they won't get the placeholder in the emails.
