Hi, can you tell me how to get the price of the Extra's specified on a Woocommerce invoice?
Currently, the price of a Service is increased with the price of the Extra without any specifications. This is necessary however for tax- and accounting purposes.
I tried making the Woocommerce product a variable product with the Extra as an option, but it didn't make a difference. Can it be done differently?
As far as I know, Extras should be included in the Product once they are selected. I had a ticket yesterday, where a user had extras added to a service, and that appeared in the order details in WooCommerce.
Please go to ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/src/Infrastructure/WP/Integrations/WooCommerce/WooCommerceService.php and modify it around line 767 so it looks like this:
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party.
You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Unfortunately, something like that can't be achieved with Amelia's settings. Our booking is being shown as a total price (service + extras). I don't know what you're using for creating invoices, but the change would have to be implemented there.
You could only be able to use and print out the metaData, similar to what is printed out in the order that is sent via email. So, the invoice would, in that case, contain the extended data (employee name, datetime, etc.).
I know this cannot be achieved with the current settings. I do hope that it will be changed in Amelia. When the extra's would be integrated in the right-side column in Woocommerce, their price would also appear on the Woocommerce invoice instead of just the total amount paid.
Services and Extra's can be different products with different tax rates applying.

Hi again,
Thanks, but this is not an answer to my question. Please see: https://prnt.sc/t194uz
How can we get the price of the Extra on the invoice, not just the total costs?
Thanks!
Hello again Elisabeth
I see. I have forwarded your request to our development team, and as soon as I receive a response I will let you know.

Hello Elisabeth
Please go to ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/src/Infrastructure/WP/Integrations/WooCommerce/WooCommerceService.php and modify it around line 767 so it looks like this:
And it will forward the extra into WooCommerce invoice. We'll be adding some settings in the database in the future, but until then, please try this.

Hi Aleksander,
Thanks for that.
Unforunately, it is not how we need it to be. I have added screenshots:
1. https://prnt.sc/tcnphk shopping cart (extra price is visible)
2. https://prnt.sc/tcnqde checkout (extra price is visible)
3. https://prnt.sc/tco0if (Woocommerce email, Extra price is visible, but not separated from the total amount)
4. https://prnt.sc/tcns1m (pdf invoice which is sent with Woo mail (order completed), no extra price visible, see notes on the invoice please)

Hi,

Thanks for trying to help anyway.
You're welcome, Elisabeth
Sorry I couldn't be of any further assistance with this.
The suggestion has been forwarded to our development team, though, so hopefully it will be changed in the future.
