I have issues with Amelia booking page speed (see attachment)

    https://www.themmskin.com/booking

I am using https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/ to test page speed but getting error. After removing Amelia blocking shortcode from the booking page speed goes to normal. Can you run the test or take a look and let me know what's causing the page to load super slow. Customers are complaining already.

    Thanks,

    Hello,
Page speed is 1% on Mobile and 38% Desktop wish is horrible and not acceptable. Page loading time is 12 seconds is very slow.

Just to compare without Amelia page speed Mobile 42% and Desktop 73% with loading page speed 1.8 seconds.

I understand Amalea contains allot information. However, it should not load that slow.

Can the level two support team look at the Amelia page?

Our support renewal is around the corner so I like to know if this plugin best for us in terms of booking page speed. Unfortunately 12 seconds loading time in today's market this very slow.

'Please see the attached page speed tests for both pages.
    Thanks,

    Hello Marina,

Amelia uses admin-ajax calls and they request response from your server, so the speed depends on the server plenty. I see that you have 5 shortcodes for Amelia on that page, so each one of them is loading separately and has a separate admin-ajax call, so you try can changing that for better performance. Unfortunately, there isn't anything that can be done about the speed of your website from Amelia's side. You can check out with your hosting if there is anything that can be done with the server speed.

When it comes to loading times on one website - this is mostly determined by:

    • The amount of data on the page
    • Server performance
    • Hosting
    • Internet
    • Local machine performance
    • Delayed requests

Just to compare without Amelia page speed Mobile 42% and Desktop 73% with loading page speed 1.8 seconds.

I see that you don't have anything on this page, so it isn't measurable to compare to this page , as of course the page will be faster if you don't have anything on it.

If you have any further questions feel free to ask.

I check with AWS (my hosting) and they said my setup is best optimize can be.

Last year when I install Amelia page speed was much better. After 3 updates page speed dropped. Basically, what are you saying there is nothing that can be done on Amelia end to optimize?
Again I am trying to decide whether to keep Amalia try other booking systems.

    Thanks,

    Hello Marina,

Apologies for replying late, we are not working on weekends.

Unfortunately, there isn't anything that can be done in Amelia to optimize the speed of the page where it is loaded. Amelia works with admin-ajax calls and requests a response from the server and database each time it is loaded, so there isn't a possibility cache this on a page. It would probably help dividing the shortcodes per page.

If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help.
