Currently run a multisite environment.  Have a Developer license for Amelia.  attempting to activate license for primary domain and continually get greyed out boxes where the license is supposed to be entered - advice is to "upgrade".

So, question... is there some kind of "Amelia Pro" download?  Or is this a possible bug / unrealized feature of the software that I need explained to me?

I have read elsewhere that the plugin works in a multisite environment.  I also use WP Ultimo, but deactivated that to see if conflicts existed.  Same result across the board - cannot enter the license.  It's all greyed out in every instance.

    Hello Mark,

Thank you for your purchase and apologies for replying late, we are not working on weekends.

It seems like you have the Lite version of Amelia installed, not the Full version, as you get the Upgrade options.

Unfortunately, the update to full version from Lite can't be done with only entering the purchase code in the provided field. The Lite version needs to be deactivated/deleted, and the full version installed to be able to activate the license and use all features of the plugin.

My suggestion is to update the plugin manually by following these steps:

    1) Download the zip from our store or from the email that you received when you made the purchase

    2) Use FTP to open /yourwordpressfolder/wp-content/plugins

    3) Delete existing ameliabooking folder

    4) Upload previously downloaded ameliabooking folder through FTP to plugins folder (unzip it)

    5) Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section

    6) Deactivate Amelia Plugin, and then activate it again

    7) Clear server and browser cache

If you are using hosting where you are not allowed to your FTP  then follow those instructions:

    1) Download the zip from our store or from the email that you received when you made the purchase

    2) Delete Amelia plugin from WordPress Plugins page

    3) Click on Add new on Plugins page

    4) Click on Upload plugin on Plugins page

    5) Choose previously downloaded ameliabooking zip file

    6) When uploading is done, please Activate Amelia plugin

    7) Clear server and browser cache.

Please note that if you delete plugin from Plugins page you WILL NOT lose your data, because it is already saved in your database.

Please note that our plugin have a size of around 6 MB so if yo are not able to upload the plugin through WordPress plugins page, then you need to increase following:

    upload_max_file size,

    post_max_size ,

    max_execution_time

You should be able to find these values in your php.ini file or on your hosting panel. If you can't find it yourself please ask your hosting provider to provide it.

If you have any other questions or concerns don't hesitate to ask,

Nope.  Did all that BEFORE I contacted you.  Then, I did it again, just in case I might have missed a step.  I did not.  I followed your instructions - both options - to the letter.  Still get a screen that is greyed out where a license is supposed to be entered.

However, on a whim, instead of attempting to mouse-click on the window, I noticed I could highlight the text that appeared to be covered by a semi-transparent image.  I clicked through, and managed to hit the field.  Copy/paste the license, then tab over to the register button and it worked.

Something to be aware of, and possibly helpful to others who might be experiencing the same challenges.
