We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

I'm new to wordpress and Amelia.

My purpose in purchasing Amelia is to have clients schedule a consultation for our service (1 hour appointments).

I would like to be able to add a questionnaire to the scheduling process.

I would like to receive payment before the appointment is officially scheduled.

When an appointment is booked... I would like to add an addition 45 minutes of unavailability to the schedule to allow for travel time between appointments.

I am struggling to find these functions but the sales team told me Amelia does all this and more.  I am struggling.  Help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    James

    Hello James,

    Thank you for your purchase.

You can create custom fields in Amelia for any additional questions you have for your customers and they will be added to the booking form for services you choose when you create them, You can read more about this feature here

There isn't a possibility to receive a payment before the appointment is scheduled. The payment can be done online - in the bookign process - using PayPal, Stripe or WooCommerce, or on-site (offline) when customers come to the appointment. There is a possibility to set the Default status of the appointments booked to be Pending, and then yo approve them in the back-end.

There is a possibility to add Buffer times for the Services, so you can set the Buffer time after to be 45 min for the services, and if appointment is booked for that service, there will be a 45 min break before the following time slot available for booking. You can read here about the Services' options.

If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
