Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    Hi,
    Some questions here:

1.- Is it possible to NOT assign or auto-assign the sessions, but make them pick the sessions?
Let's pretend that I have 3 employees. A customer makes a reservation of a session, but the system doesn't assign any teacher. The system sends a notification to all the available employees, and then they decide to "claim" the session or decline to be the professional that will lead it.

2.- The second case would be:
The system works automatically assigning an employee (when we don't give the customer the option to choose an employee.)
I would like to know if it is possible for an employee to decline that reservation and:

    a) Automatically make it available for another employee? (if this is how actually the system works, please let me know the criteria for selecting the next employee.)

    b) Notify all the other employees about that "free" session and let them "claim it as theirs."

If they are not features, please add them as request.
If they are possible even with webhooks or something else, please show me how to do it. I have checked the docs, but haven't found anything.

    Thanks.

    Hello Jose,

    Thank you for your purchase.

1 - No, unfortunately, this isn't possible. Any employee is the default option for appointments in Amelia, and a random employee is assigned to each booking, and that can't be changed with the Amelia's current built-in features.

2 - When appointments are booked, a random employee is added to the bookings if no employee is chosen. Appointments can be edited in the back-end and the employee can be changed for the appointment, if they are available for that time slot and assigned to that service.

    a) There isn't a possibility for employees to decline a reservation, and for the system to automatically assign another employee for that appointment.

    b) This isn't possible in Amelia.

I will add these as feature requests to our list.

If you have any further questions feel free to ask.

    Ok Marija,

I hope some of these powerful features could come soon.

    Cheers!

The most requested features are in the top of our list, so if these features get requested more by our users they will go up in the list and definitely be considered for implementing.

If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help.
