We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hi,

I'm using the [ameliacustomerpanel] shortcode. And I miss (a lot) a real planning like in the admin/employee but for the user. The present appointment list is not enough and not as readable as a visual planning.

    Thanks

    Hello campanhubert,

The front-end Customer panel is for customers and customers in Amelia don't have the same access/permissions as employees and admins. You can see the access and permissions for each user role given in Amelia here and you can read more about the Roles settings by following this link

I am not sure on what exactly do you think of when you say real user planning. Customers can login to the back-end of WordPress if you give them Amelia Customer wp user role and have the same view of the appointments like employees and admin in the back-end, if this is what you want.

Hi Marija, Thanks for your reply.

I mean by real planning a calendar view (day/week/month) like in the admin/user backend view. But I don't want my customers to go to the backend. It is like asking to a brick and mortar real shop owner to ask his customers to go in the backroom to retrieve their merchandise. No use of a nice and beautiful display then.

That is the point of a shortcode (like the one you provide). I hopped the [ameliacustomerpanel] would have a real planning view and not just appointment list. Hence the ICS/ical file feature request I also made. Displaying it would have been feasible.

    You are welcome!

I see, you are talking about the Calendar page. Unfortunately, there isn't a possibility to have that page/view on the front-end, in the Customer panel. I will add it as a feature request to our list, so it can be considered for implementation in the future.

If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help.
