I wanted to create custom fields that should appear always in any new event I create. but after I create custom fields and choose: "All Events" it's applied on all currently listed email only. When I create new events the fields doesn't appear in it automatically. which means each time I create an event I have to go to the custom fields area and include each custom field to the new event which is not usable at all.
One other issue with events backend tab. There is no way to show all events in the system. I'm even not able to select a whole year from the date range selector. this is so problematic for admins.
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
Custom fields cannot be added to events at the moment, so I'm not sure how you were able to add them to your existing events in the first place. Are you, maybe, referring to Services?
Either way, when you add a new service, a foreign key that links the service to the custom fields is not created, and you need to go back in the custom fields menu, and re-select "Apply to all services" for it to work.
I don't see why you are not able to select the date range in back-end. I just tried it, and it's working fine for almost two years.
Yes they can be added to Events (view attached screenshot), but like Rimoun mentioned, you have to manually add to each event which is insane if you have 100's of events.
I agree with you, Jeff, but that's how the plugin works at the moment.
You may have 100's of events, but you don't have 100's of custom fields, right? I mean, if custom fields need to be assigned to every event, after you add an event you can simply click on "All events", and the custom field will be added to all your existing events:
The existing events will already have the field assigned, so you only need to add new ones.

What happens when you select the dates?
