We have recently bought this plugin to use for our several branches.
the branches have to be able to book their own appointments for new customers
also when they book an appointment to select how long that appointment will take.
Are you able to assist with this please?
Thanks
Daniela
Hello Daniela
Thank you for your purchase.
I'm not sure I understand your setup. Do you have a multi-site installation?
The customers cannot choose how long the appointment will last. This is determined by the duration of the service.
Could you explain in a bit more detail what you wish?
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hi Aleksander.
We ha e multiple branches that I have setup and locations on the application.
Each branch has an employee that has to be able to add appointments to their own diary but they can’t at the moment because they can’t add new customers. Also the employee needs to block time in the diary when he might be doing other jobs in the branch like paperwork. Is there are a way to be able to achieve the above. If you send me an email address maybe I can explain further if this doesn’t make sense.
Thanks
Daniela
Hello Daniela
If this is all on a single website, it could be achieved with some workarounds.
You would need to install the User Role Editor plugin, and enable the following capabilities for Amelia Employee user role:
amelia_read_customers
amelia_write_customers
amelia_delete_customers
This should be enough, but you can always enable or disable whichever capability you wish with this plugin.
As for blocking of specific times in the calendar - you can do this by connecting the employee with his Google calendar, through our Google Calendar integration, or by adding special days, which will override existing working hours for employees.
Kind Regards,
