We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
I encounter an issue when trying to change an appointment's status and logged in with a WP custom role.
I made a custom role named Admin (Limited) and authorized all Amelia's permissions for this role (using the Members plugin).
Despite this, i'm unable to change an appointments status (e.g. Pending > Approved) when i'm logged in as an Admin (Limited).
I have to be logged in with a regular WP Admin role.
I thought maybe those permissions would allow a custom role to change the appointment's status(?)

Can you please check on your side?
Thanks for your help.

Hello Emmanuel,
I forwarded this to the development team so they can check it out.
For now, you can maybe try the Amelia Manager user role for this purpose? If you are not adding some other plugin's permissions to that custom role.
Hi marija,
Oh, but you"re right, i missed the Amelia roles!
I also enabled Amelia Manager extra role for the user with the custom role (in Admin > Users), and she can manage the appointments status now.
No need to open Amelia's permissions one by one for the custom role actually.
Thanks for the tip. ;-)
Regards
Emmanuel
