Hello Team. I was wondering if there was a way to limit the buffer time on specific categories. For example. I have one Service that gets more traffic than another so having different buffer times for each make sense. Is the buffer time a global feature or can I choose it individually per form?
The buffer times can be set for Services only in Amelia, it can't be set globally . When you create the service you have an option to set buffer time before and after the appointment for that service.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
Let me explain better. I have two different services and I want the Minimum time required before booking for one of these services to be 2 days and the Minimum time required before booking for the other service be 4 days. How can I do this? I see this option in the general setting (image attached) but not on the individual services.
We added this setting per service in one of the latest versions of Amelia, so if you have some previous version please update the plugin to the latest version, 2.6 and you will be able to set this setting per service as well.
You can follow these instructions to update the plugin manually, if you need that:
2) Delete Amelia plugin from WordPress Plugins page
3) Click on Add new on Plugins page
4) Click on Upload plugin on Plugins page
5) Choose previously downloaded ameliabooking zip file
6) When uploading is done, please Activate Amelia plugin
7) Clear server and browser cache.
Please note that if you delete plugin from Plugins page you WILL NOT lose your data, because it is already saved in your database.
Please note that our plugin have a size of around 6 MB so if yo are not able to upload the plugin through WordPress plugins page, then you need to increase following:
upload_max_file size,
post_max_size ,
max_execution_time
You should be able to find these values in your php.ini file or on your hosting panel. If you can't find it yourself please ask your hosting provider to provide it.
If you have any further questions or concerns don't hesitate to ask,
