We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
I'd like to know if I can sync the plugin directly to my Outlook calendar and be able to confirm, cancel or reschedule appointments from there without having to go to Google Calendar or login to Wordpress.
If it can't be done in Outlook, I'd like to know if my employees can confirm, cancel or reschedule appointments from Google Calendars and not having to login to Wordpress.
Hello linkbm,
Thank you for your purchase.
Unfortunately, that isn't possible in Amelia with its current built-in features. The only synchronization available in Amelia is with Google calendar, we don't have sync with Outlook yet. But even if you use Google sync you can't manage the appointments booked in Amelia in the Google calendar, they will be created there but you can't cancel/reschedule them from Google calendar, you need to do this in Amelia.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
Would this be something you'd be considering in your updates? I saw other comments regarding this matter.
We have a plan to implement integration with Outlook in one of the following updates. For now, we can't say when it will be implemented unfortunately. But it will probably work in the same way as the Google integration, you won't be able to cancel/reschedule Amelia appointments in the calendar.
OK. You should really consider the option of confirming, cancel and reschedule from Outlook and Gooogle. When I read it was a 2 way sync I assumed you could do that, otherwise it is really only a 1 way sync from Amelia to Google Calendars since you can't send confirmation back from Goolge Calendar to Amelia.
Thank you for the suggestion. I will add it as a feature request to our list.
The 2 way sync is because appointments from Amelia are created in Google calendar, and time slots of events created in Google are blocked for booking in Amelia.
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help.
