We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi, I just wanted to know whether it is possible to include the tax in the total price displayed in an Amelia, whilst using the WooCommerce integration.
The problem is that when Amelia creates an "Appointment" that redirects to a WooCommerce checkout, it uses the price that was set in Amelia. If you use the VAT option in WooCommerce, the tax gets added and displayed on top of the price you set for the product only at this stage. This all means that you can't set the price in Amelia post-tax to represent the actual amount the user will pay or it will add another layer of tax by the time it reaches the WooCommerce checkout, which would lead to the wrong price being displayed.
I'm not sure if I'm missing something, or whether this is a very much needed feature that hopefully is very easy to implement.
Thank you
Daniel
Hello Daniel
Thank you for your purchase.
Unfortunately, this is how the integration works. At the moment, tax can only be added through WooCommerce in the manner you stated here.
We're looking into adding the tax in Amelia itself, but I can't say when it will be included in the plugin.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hi,
I am facing the same issue, is there already a solution for that?
Thanks
Hello Simon
Taxing and invoices are still on our "To-Do" list, and we hope they will be implemented in the next couple of months, but we can't promise that.
