Sorry if this is a basic question but in the process of setting physical facilities as employees and facility hire as services I have got confused about how to configure capacity.
We offer two services:
Arena Hire (employee is the arena!). Here we wish people to be able to bring friends with them but for that time slot to be unavailable for other bookings for the duration of their time slot.
Cross Country course hire. Here we ALSO wish people to be able to bring groups and have set up extras for this, however here we need the course to also be available to other groups during this time as they are huge and will not get crowded.
How do i set up the Appointment settings so that the above is possible? Should "Allow booking below minimum capacity: " be on or off?
There are settings for capacity in both the employee and the service and I don't know how to set them.
We think a group using the arena together should not be bigger than perhaps 4.
We think the cross country courses could easily cope with 20 people in different groups at the same time.
Service is what defines the available capacity, so if you set the max capacity to be 4, it will be 4.
Now, if you go to Appointment settings, and set it up like this:
multiple customers will be able to book the same time slot, without having to fill in the minimum capacity.
If this is disabled, your front-end customers won't be able to submit a booking unless they fill in the minimum service capacity, but once they book for any capacity above minimum, the time slot will become unavailable for booking for others.
Unfortunately, this is applied to all services on your website. If I misunderstood, please let me know.
