We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Is anyone aware of a way to ensure someone selects a specific employee / custom-labeled employee during the booking process, rather than "Any employee".
We want to ensure that a customer has to select someone, and cannot choose "any employee" during their booking.
Hello Jonathan
Something like this is not possible if you use regular [ameliabooking] or [ameliacatalog] shortcodes.
You could, however, create a page where your customers can choose the employee.
For example:
You can create a booking page for every employee using [ameliabooking employee=1] or [ameliacatalog employee=1] shortcodes.
Then, you have a page which contains hyperlinked images (or names) of your employees. Each of these are linked to the page of that individual employee, so when they click on an employee it will take them to [ameliabooking employee=X] which can only book a service for that individual employee.
We don't yet have employee IDs in Amelia's UI (this will be implemented in the next update), but you can use Gutenberg Editor, where you can choose which employee's booking modal will come up.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
