I was on the AppSumo Webinar today and asked a few questions regarding the Amelia plugin that I have a lifetime license for. Some questions I was told to submit as a ticket here:
1) How do I merge customer information without losing their appointment history (I have a customer in particular who has spelled his name differently - sometimes with capitals sometimes without and sometimes made mistakes typing his email). I want to merge his information into 1 record.
2) When I go to the Appointments Tab and search within a date range for a client, I do not get any results. So far all my Appointments have been Events. Is this only available for Services?? What if a customer attends services AND events? Why isn't the trie purchase history per client visible anywhere?
3) When I open the client information, I only get a list of the number of past appointments. How come it does not list the date and price and payment method of each appointment or service or event this client attended in their record? This is something that is standard in all other booking software. If it doe snot exists, I would urge you to please consider adding code for it since you already have the information in the system when they have booked and paid. It is just a matter of showing it in the client record.
4) I would like to be able to sell a "package" of services. For example 8 prepaid massage therapy services. And allow a client to book against the prepaid package. In the webinar this feature was mentioned as in the works. For when do you think this will be available?
5) In the Webinar I asked about payroll reports for our staff. Basically, It would be very helpful to be able to assign a fee per staff per service of what they will each get paid for rendering the service. (not visible to the customer - this is internal wages fees paid to my staff). Sometimes I have one service but I pay staff differently because they are on a different payment tier due to their technical ability or their time with the company. Being able to create a link between a service and a staff fee would allow us to download a report of how many of each service a staff member has delivered and easily pay them. This is not something I currently see here but it would be great if you could think about working on it. I would gladly pay extra for these upgrades.
6) for ZOOM integration: Currently the email confirmation that goes out does not mention the automatically generated Zoom password. Zoom now requires this. Can you look into it?
7) The image feature in the confirmation emails does not work. I tested it today to try to add my Logo to the email but the image does not appear in the test mail.
8) If we can store someone's payment information automatically in Stripe, can you integrate a way for us to be able to charge the client automatically for a service form Amelia? Or even generate a request for payment on payPal?
9) Is there a way you can integrate with a storage platform so we can share "saved" videos of Zoom classes we sell (e.g. our fitness or yoga class) to customers who purchase a monthly membership with unlimited access to these videos?
10) Is there a way of adding the health questionnaire information to someone's profile and their signed waiver so they do not need to continue to fill out that information every time they sign up?
11) How do I create discount vouchers on Amelia? And can you offer tiered pricing for services or events based on the day when people book? For example, a weekend course gets and early bird price if booked and paid by 4 weeks prior to the course start, or a certain group of people get to input a discount code because they belong to an Association you want to offer a negotiated discount to.

1) Unfortunately, this can't be done in Amelia with its current built-in features. It maybe can be achieved in your database, but there a lot of things that you need to be careful about so we don't recommend that and we can't give instructions for this. It would be best if you just edit the appointments on the Amelia -> Appointments page and add the correct customer and remove the one that has errors.
2) Yes, Appointments are for Services only. if customers book a service an appointment will be created in the Appointments list, and if they book an event they will be created as Attendees in Events. There ins't a possibility to show all of the appointments/events booked per customer in Amelia.
3) There isn't a possibility to show the appointments/events customers booked in the Customers list, unfortunately. I will add it as a feature request to our list, so it can be considered for implementation in the future. At the moment, it is like that, and we can't say if and when such function will be implemented.
4) Unfortunately, there isn't a possibility to sell Packages in Amelia with its current built-in features. We have this feature in our to-do list , but we can't say exactly when it will be implemented and released. It should be in one of the updates during this year.
5) We will add it as a feature request to our list, so it can be considered for implementation in the future.
6) We are aware of the changes Zoom had, and it is forwarded to our development team so they can check out if anything needs to be done on our side regarding that.
7) I have tested this now on our test site, it needs to be done using the Image button in the Edit panel above the Message field. Please look at the attachment. Could you please send me the image that you want to try to add so I can check it out?
8) No, unfortunately, that is not possible in Amelia.
