I am facing a quite strange situation. Amelia does not send out notificaiton email some of the time. It is quite strange. Some of my customer complains about not getting pending notification. Some of them tells me that that do not even get approval notification. When we ask them to check their junk box, then they literally did it in front of our face to show us that they did not have it. It is not everyone not get it but some. Also they range from many different server.
We link our email to googl SMTP. Surprisingly, some of the customer with gmail does not even get the notfication. I am just wondering if you have encountered this kind of weird bahviour. Thank you very much and have a nice day.
If email notifications work for some, they have to work for all customers and employees. It simply can't work selectively. It'd be like you sending an email to 10 different people, and 5 of them not receiving the email.
Shouldn't be possible. Are their email addresses correct?
I understand. That's why it shocked me when I got this. I looked into this and I think that it is due to Google has a SMTP limit per hour.
I have over 150 booking in the first 5 to 10 minutes of the page release. I think that is the reason. I have changed the mail server to another one. Will keep you posted.
Problem solved. Thank you very much. (Just do not use Gmail server even if you are a paying business Gsuite user as long as you are sending out more than 100 to 200 emails per hour).
